In 2012 HC SemiTek went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange ChiNext (Growth Enterprise Board) under ticker 300323.SZ. One of the first Chinese LED-Chip-Manufacturers with ChiNext listing, raising capital for the Wuhan main production and later sites (Zhangjiagang, Yiwu, Yuxi).

BOE becomes largest shareholder (2022)
BOE Technology Group invested USD 289M (CNY 2.1B) in HC SemiTek in 2022 becoming largest shareholder with 23.08 percent voting stake. With voting agreement from New Sure, BOE voting rights rose to 26.66 percent. Acquired 272M new shares at CNY 5.60.

Zhuhai MicroLED plant: USD 700M investment (2023)
In 2023 construction of the Zhuhai MicroLED production plant began with USD 700M total investment, fifth production site alongside Wuhan (HQ), Zhangjiagang, Yiwu and Yuxi. Full production targeted for end of 2025. Focus on Mini/Micro-LED chips for next-generation display and display backlight.
