Epistar Corporation was one of the world's largest LED chip manufacturers (founded 1996 in Hsinchu/Taiwan), with its own UV-LED line (UVA/UVC). In March 2021 the Ennostar Corporation holding structure was formed via a share swap together with Lextar Electronics. On 1 October 2025, Epistar as a standalone brand was formally replaced by Ennostar; epistar.com 301-redirects to chip.ennostar.com. Chip production continues under the Ennostar umbrella.
