SemiLEDs Corporation, incorporated in Delaware in 2005 with fabrication facilities in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, develops and manufactures metal-alloy vertical LED chips in blue, green and ultraviolet under its patented MvpLED technology. Its UV portfolio focuses on UV-A chips for the curing industry, sold under the MvpLED brand primarily across China, Taiwan and the rest of Asia. The vertical metal-alloy structure gives higher output power density and longer lumen maintenance.
