Central ventilation (AHU)
Central air handling unit (AHU): UV-C lamps in the airflow disinfect the supply air — industry standard for large ventilation centres
UV-C disinfection in the central ventilation system / AHU plenum. For industrial and large-commercial scale (office buildings, large hotels, clinics, pharma admin buildings). Larger systems are usually walk-in — wherever we mount lamps there is room for a person. For very large halls >100k m³/h, typically several plenums on the roof with their own access hatches, each fitted with UV individually. For classrooms, waiting areas or small rooms, standalone room-air units are the right choice (see "UV ceiling recirculation unit" or "UV wall recirculation unit").
