    Epistar formally replaced as brand by Ennostar Corporation

    On 1 October 2025 Epistar is formally replaced as a stand-alone brand by Ennostar Corporation — epistar.com 301-redirects to chip.ennostar.com. Chip production (UVA/UVC LED dies) continues as a subsidiary under Ennostar. Consolidation in the Taiwanese UV-LED market.

    Arkema acquires Lambson — integration into Sartomer (2019)

    On 30 July 2019 Arkema S.A. (France) completed the acquisition of Lambson Ltd. Integration into Sartomer division as photoinitiator unit; Wetherby site became Photoinitiator Center of Excellence for entire Sartomer global operation.     Baldwin Technology acquires AMS — rebrand to "AMS Spectral UV" (2018)

    In January 2018 Air Motion Systems was acquired by Baldwin Technology Company Inc. (subsidiary of Barry-Wehmiller, USD 2+B US family conglomerate) and renamed to "AMS Spectral UV". Consolidation of US UV-curing equipment industry under one roof — Baldwin already had its own UV+IR divisions, integrated with AMS into the Curing business unit.     Acquisition by Chinese consortium (IDG + MLS + Yiwu) for EUR 400M (2017)

    On 3 March 2017 a Chinese consortium consisting of IDG Capital Partners (strategic investor), MLS Co. Ltd. (Chinese lighting holding) and Yiwu State-Owned Assets Operation Center (financial investor) closed the acquisition of LEDVANCE for EUR 400M. Economic effect 2017-03-01.     In 1830 Christian Gottlieb Rolffs together with his brother-in-law founded the manufactured goods trade "Rolffs & Poensgen" in Cologne. Out of the company's calico print shop later emerged today's Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA. In 1851 the printing inks business was relocated to Siegburg — today's HQ location.
